This Fashion Calendar talks about a prominent social issue: Catcalling, defined as the act of shouting, harassing and often sexually suggestive, threatening, or derisive comments at someone publicly.
'#gazeback' is an exaggerated fashion photo series that aims at empowering individuals, belonging to any class, gender, and orientation, falling victim to lewd comments, male gaze, and constant scrutiny of the stereotypical, backward, negative and narrow mindset.
Photographs thus presented are a result of extensive primary research on victims of catcalling. Efforts have been made to connect each photograph with a particular person's tragedy and retain its authenticity in terms of the comment passed and it's location.
